Our Journey To Swiss Made

A journey to find a new city collection that was just as meaningful as the destination.

Two years ago, I began a life-changing journey, sparked by the desire to offer something more to our 5TH Family. The 5TH’s City Collections have always pushed the boundaries of what a contemporary timepiece can be, and for our next addition, I wanted to go further than any direct-to-consumer watch brand had been before.

It all began with a life-changing trip to Switzerland.

I jumped on a plane to Switzerland (remember this was 2019 and we could still do things like that). The first stop was Geneva, where I visited some of Switzerland’s finest watchmaking facilities, and met with some incredible designers whose resumes include some of the world’s most luxurious watch brands. I was hooked/inspired/in awe of their attention to detail and passion for the watch industry - I knew right away that this was exactly where I needed to be, and creating a new collection here was the next step. 

Second stop: back to The 5TH HQ to bring the Collection to life.

After experiencing the world’s hub of watchmaking, the vision was clear, and I got to work on designing a new collection of watches that would bring this impeccable Swiss quality to our 5TH community. I began the process of collaborating with the designers and manufacturers I met on my journey, brining their knowledge and passion for the industry into our design process; reworking some of our signature details. 

The 5TH Swiss Today

It’s two years later and I could not be prouder with what we’ve achieved. The 5TH’s offering now includes a collection of carefully crafted Swiss Made timepieces, which impeccably pair Swiss craftsmanship with the signature contemporary design aesthetic of The 5TH’s classic city Collections. In true 5TH style, these timepieces are available exclusively to our community on the 5th of every month, with new styles coming soon.
